⚙ Payment System Settings
Control how payments are processed. Only the ICT Administrator can change these settings.
Payment Mode
Choose how parents can make payments for school fees
When "Manual + Online" is enabled, a "Pay Online" button will appear in the Parent Portal and a Paystack integration will be activated.
Manual Payment Settings
Configure how manual payments are recorded and receipts are issued
Receipt Number Prefix
All receipt numbers will use this prefix (e.g. RCA-RCP-1001)
Unlock Results After Full Payment
When enabled, ICT Admin can unlock a student's report card once their fees are fully paid
Who Can Record Payments
Only Accountant and ICT Administrator can record manual payments

contact your ICT team to integrate Paystack. Switch the Payment Mode above to "Manual + Online" to enable the gateway fields.

Add this URL to your Paystack webhook settings so payments are confirmed automatically
Future Online Payment Workflow

Parent logs in to Parent Portal and clicks "Pay Online"

Parent is redirected to the Paystack checkout page

After successful payment, Paystack notifies the backend via webhook

System stores transaction, generates receipt, updates payment history and outstanding balance automatically

If payment qualifies, student's report card is automatically unlocked
